Payment Methods Policy
Effective date: 2 July 2023
Last updated: 20 July 2026
This Payment Methods Policy explains the payment methods available through Xa Handmade, how payments are verified, and when an order is accepted for processing.
Xa Handmade is based in Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan and operates through xahandmade.com.
This policy applies to payments for:
- Handmade jewellery;
- Personalised and made-to-order jewellery;
- Ready-made jewellery;
- Beaded bags;
- Jewellery-making materials;
- Jewellery-making tools;
- Starter kits;
- Online jewellery-making courses; and
- Other products or services displayed on the website.
All payment methods available for a particular order will be shown during checkout.
Payment Methods at a Glance
- Xa Handmade accepts JazzCash, Easypaisa and direct bank transfer where displayed at checkout.
- Cash on Delivery is not currently available.
- Personalised and made-to-order products require advance payment.
- Orders remain on hold until payment has been received and verified.
- Customers must never send passwords, PINs or one-time passwords.
- Any additional available payment option will be shown during checkout.
1. Available Payment Methods
Xa Handmade currently accepts payment through one or more of the following methods, where displayed during checkout:
- JazzCash;
- Easypaisa;
- Direct bank transfer to United Bank Limited;
- PayPal, where lawfully available and enabled; and
- Any other payment method expressly displayed on the Xa Handmade checkout page.
The payment instructions and recipient account details applicable to an order will be displayed during checkout.
Customers must use only the payment details shown on the official Xa Handmade website or provided through an authorised Xa Handmade communication.
2. No Cash on Delivery
Xa Handmade does not currently offer Cash on Delivery.
Orders must be paid in advance through an approved payment method displayed during checkout.
This requirement applies particularly to personalised and made-to-order products because materials may be purchased, prepared, cut or customised specifically for the customer.
3. Prices, Charges and Order Total
The customer must pay the complete amount displayed at checkout.
The order total may include:
- Product price;
- Customisation charges;
- Additional-letter charges;
- Size, material, finish or design charges;
- Gift packaging;
- Shipping charges;
- Course fees; and
- Any other charge clearly displayed before the order is submitted.
Xa Handmade will not add an undisclosed product or shipping charge after an order has been placed.
Where an additional amount becomes necessary because the customer later requests a change, special service or different delivery arrangement, Xa Handmade will inform the customer and obtain confirmation before proceeding.
4. Currency
Prices displayed on the website are normally shown in Pakistani Rupees—PKR, unless another currency is clearly stated.
For international payments, the customer’s bank, mobile-wallet provider, PayPal or card provider may convert the amount into another currency.
Any exchange rate, currency-conversion fee or international transaction charge applied by a third-party provider is determined by that provider and is not controlled by Xa Handmade.
5. JazzCash Payments
Customers selecting JazzCash must transfer the complete order amount to the JazzCash account shown during checkout.
After making the payment, the customer must provide the transaction reference requested during checkout.
Xa Handmade may request limited information necessary to verify the payment, such as:
- Transaction reference or transaction ID;
- Name of the sender or account holder;
- Amount transferred;
- Date of payment; and
- Order number.
The customer should retain the JazzCash transaction confirmation until the order has been completed.
Xa Handmade will never request:
- A JazzCash password;
- A mobile-wallet PIN; or
- A one-time password.
6. Easypaisa Payments
Customers selecting Easypaisa must transfer the complete order amount to the Easypaisa account shown during checkout.
After completing the payment, the customer must provide the transaction reference requested during checkout.
Xa Handmade may request limited information reasonably necessary to match the payment with the order, including:
- Transaction reference or transaction ID;
- Name of the sender or account holder;
- Amount transferred;
- Date of payment; and
- Order number.
The customer should retain the Easypaisa transaction confirmation until the order has been completed.
Xa Handmade will never request:
- An Easypaisa password;
- A mobile-wallet PIN; or
- A one-time password.
7. Direct Bank Transfer
Customers selecting direct bank transfer must transfer the complete order amount to the United Bank Limited account displayed during checkout.
The customer may be required to provide:
- Bank transaction reference;
- Name of the account holder;
- Amount transferred;
- Date of transfer; and
- Order number.
Bank transfers may require additional time to appear in the receiving account, particularly during:
- Weekends;
- Public holidays;
- Interbank processing;
- Banking-service interruptions; or
- Manual verification.
The order will remain on hold until the payment has been received and verified.
8. PayPal Payments
PayPal may be offered only where it is lawfully available to Xa Handmade and displayed as an active payment option during checkout.
Where PayPal is available, the customer may complete payment using the payment options supported by PayPal for that customer and country.
PayPal independently processes payment information under its own terms, privacy policy, security procedures and fee arrangements.
Xa Handmade does not receive or store:
- The customer’s PayPal password;
- The customer’s complete payment-card number;
- The customer’s card-security code; or
- The customer’s online-banking password.
PayPal fees, card-provider charges, international transaction fees or currency-conversion charges may apply and are determined by the relevant provider.
9. Payment Reference at Checkout
Because JazzCash, Easypaisa and bank-transfer payments are verified manually, the customer must provide the correct transaction reference or payment information requested during checkout.
The transaction reference allows Xa Handmade to match the payment with the correct order.
Incorrect, incomplete or missing payment information may delay:
- Payment verification;
- Order acceptance;
- Production of personalised products;
- Course-registration confirmation; or
- Dispatch.
A payment reference should not contain a password, PIN or one-time password.
10. Payment Confirmation Evidence
Customers should retain their payment confirmation until the order has been completed.
Where reasonably necessary, Xa Handmade may request:
- The transaction reference;
- The payment date;
- The amount paid;
- The payer’s name; or
- A payment-confirmation screenshot.
Any screenshot should show only the information necessary to verify the transaction.
Customers should conceal unrelated account balances, passwords, PINs, identity numbers and other sensitive information before sending a screenshot.
11. Payment Verification
After an order has been submitted, Xa Handmade will verify the payment before accepting the order for production, registration or dispatch.
Verification may include checking:
- The amount received;
- Transaction reference;
- Date of payment;
- Sender or account-holder name; and
- Corresponding order details.
Payment verification will normally be completed as soon as reasonably possible.
Verification may take longer during:
- Weekends;
- Public holidays;
- Banking or mobile-wallet delays;
- Service interruptions;
- High order volumes; or
- Cases requiring additional information.
The WooCommerce order status may remain On Hold until the payment has been verified.
12. Order Acknowledgement and Acceptance
After an order is submitted, the website may send an automated order email or display an order number.
This confirms that Xa Handmade has electronically received the order. It does not necessarily mean that:
- Payment has been verified;
- The order has been finally accepted;
- The requested product is available;
- Customisation details are complete; or
- Production has started.
An order is accepted for processing after:
- The complete payment has been received and verified;
- The product or course place is available;
- Required customer details have been provided;
- Required delivery information has been provided; and
- All necessary customisation details have been confirmed.
Xa Handmade may contact the customer if clarification is required.
13. Electronic Receipt and Records
The customer may receive an electronic:
- Order number;
- Order acknowledgement;
- Payment confirmation;
- Invoice;
- Receipt; or
- Order-status email.
Customers should retain these records until the order, delivery, course or refund process has been completed.
Electronic order, payment and communication records may also be retained by Xa Handmade in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable record-keeping requirements.
14. Personalised and Made-to-Order Products
Personalised and made-to-order products require advance payment.
Production will begin only after:
- The complete order amount has been paid;
- The payment has been verified;
- The customer’s name or wording has been received;
- The selected name length has been confirmed;
- Applicable size, chain length, colour, material, finish and other options have been confirmed; and
- Any necessary clarification has been completed.
Customers must carefully check all names, spellings, measurements, sizes, colours and other customisation details before placing an order.
Once production has started, cancellation and refund restrictions will apply under the Refund and Returns Policy.
15. Online Course Payments
Online jewellery-making course registrations must be paid through an approved payment method displayed during registration or checkout.
A course place is confirmed only after:
- Payment has been received and verified;
- Required registration information has been provided; and
- Xa Handmade has confirmed the participant’s place.
Course schedules, joining links and related information may be sent through:
- Email;
- WhatsApp;
- Zoom; or
- Another method communicated to the participant.
Course cancellations, transfers and refunds are governed by the Refund and Returns Policy and any specific terms displayed on the course-registration page before payment.
16. Underpayments
The customer must pay the complete order amount shown at checkout.
Where the amount received is less than the required total:
- The order will remain on hold;
- Production will not begin;
- Course registration will not be confirmed; and
- Dispatch will not take place
until the outstanding balance has been paid and verified.
Xa Handmade will inform the customer where an underpayment is identified.
17. Overpayments
Where a customer transfers more than the required order amount, the customer should contact Xa Handmade and provide:
- Order number;
- Transaction reference;
- Amount transferred; and
- Payment method.
After verification, the excess amount may be:
- Refunded;
- Applied to an agreed outstanding charge; or
- Applied to another order with the customer’s consent.
Xa Handmade will not retain an accidental overpayment without reviewing it with the customer.
18. Duplicate Payments
If the same order is accidentally paid more than once, the customer should contact:
Please provide:
- Full name;
- Order number;
- Payment method;
- Both transaction references;
- Dates and amounts of the payments; and
- Supporting payment confirmations.
After the duplicate payments have been verified, the duplicate amount will be refunded through an appropriate method.
Processing times may depend on the relevant bank, mobile-wallet provider or PayPal.
19. Transfer and Provider Fees
Customers are responsible for fees charged directly by their own:
- Bank;
- Mobile-wallet provider;
- PayPal account;
- Card provider;
- Currency-conversion provider; or
- International payment service.
Xa Handmade must receive the complete order amount displayed at checkout.
Customers should review provider charges before making payment.
Any fee charged directly by Xa Handmade will be clearly displayed before the order is submitted.
20. Failed, Pending or Unverified Payments
A payment may remain pending or unverified where:
- The transaction reference is missing or incorrect;
- The payment amount does not match the order total;
- Payment was sent to an incorrect account;
- The provider is still processing the transaction;
- The payment has failed;
- The payment has been reversed;
- The payer’s information cannot be matched to the order; or
- Xa Handmade reasonably requires further verification.
Where possible, Xa Handmade will contact the customer using the details provided with the order.
An order may remain on hold or be cancelled if payment cannot be verified within a reasonable period.
If the order is cancelled because payment was not verified, a later payment will be reviewed and either applied to a reinstated order, where possible, or refunded appropriately.
21. Payments Sent to an Incorrect Account
Customers must transfer money only to the account details displayed on the official checkout page or confirmed through an authorised Xa Handmade communication.
Xa Handmade is not responsible for money sent to:
- An incorrect number or account;
- An outdated payment account;
- An unrelated person;
- A fraudulent account; or
- A payment destination not authorised by Xa Handmade.
Customers should verify the recipient name and account details before confirming a transfer.
If a transfer is sent incorrectly, the customer should immediately contact their bank, mobile-wallet provider or payment service.
22. Payment Security
Xa Handmade will never ask customers to disclose:
- Online-banking passwords;
- JazzCash passwords;
- Easypaisa passwords;
- PayPal passwords;
- Mobile-wallet PINs;
- ATM PINs;
- One-time passwords;
- Complete debit-card details;
- Complete credit-card details; or
- Card-security codes
through email, WhatsApp, a contact form or social-media message.
Customers should not send these details to Xa Handmade.
If a customer receives a suspicious payment request claiming to represent Xa Handmade, they should contact orders@xahandmade.com before transferring money.
23. Fraud Prevention and Payment Review
Xa Handmade may place an order on hold or request reasonable verification where there is evidence of:
- An altered payment receipt;
- A duplicated transaction reference;
- A payment mismatch;
- An unauthorised payment;
- Suspected fraud;
- A payment reversal; or
- Other unusual transaction activity.
Xa Handmade may refuse or cancel an order where payment fraud or misuse is reasonably suspected.
Any genuine payment already received will be handled appropriately after verification and subject to applicable legal obligations.
24. Refunds
Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund and Returns Policy.
An approved refund may be issued through:
- The original payment method, where possible;
- JazzCash;
- Easypaisa;
- Bank transfer;
- PayPal; or
- Another method agreed with the customer.
Xa Handmade may request limited account information necessary to complete a manual refund.
Xa Handmade will not request a password, PIN or one-time password to process a refund.
Refund processing times are explained in the Refund and Returns Policy.
25. Payment Disputes and Unauthorised Transactions
Customers should contact Xa Handmade promptly where they believe that:
- A payment has been applied to the wrong order;
- The same payment has been collected twice;
- The payment amount is incorrect;
- An approved refund has not been received; or
- A transaction appears unauthorised.
Please provide the order number, transaction reference and relevant supporting information.
Customers should also promptly contact their bank, mobile-wallet provider, PayPal or other payment provider regarding an unauthorised transaction or provider-related payment complaint.
Nothing in this policy restricts a customer’s lawful right to raise a genuine complaint or payment dispute with the relevant provider, regulator, court or consumer-protection forum.
26. Chargebacks and Reversals
Before initiating a chargeback or payment reversal, customers are encouraged to contact Xa Handmade so that the issue can be investigated.
Where a chargeback or reversal is initiated:
- The related order may be placed on hold;
- Production or dispatch may be suspended;
- Course access may be suspended where appropriate; and
- Xa Handmade may provide order and payment evidence to the relevant provider.
Xa Handmade will not penalise a customer for raising a genuine claim concerning an unauthorised, duplicated or incorrectly processed payment.
Fraudulent or knowingly false claims may result in cancellation of the order and restriction of future transactions.
27. Customer Information and Privacy
Payment-related information is used only for legitimate purposes such as:
- Verifying payment;
- Matching payment to an order;
- Processing a refund;
- Preventing fraud;
- Maintaining transaction records; and
- Resolving payment disputes.
Xa Handmade does not intentionally collect or store complete payment-card credentials.
The handling and retention of personal and transaction information are further explained in the Privacy Policy.
28. Third-Party Payment Providers
Banks, JazzCash, Easypaisa, PayPal and other payment providers operate independently from Xa Handmade.
Their services may be subject to their own:
- Terms and conditions;
- Privacy policies;
- Security procedures;
- Processing times;
- Transaction limits;
- Currency-conversion rules;
- Complaint procedures; and
- Fees.
Xa Handmade is not responsible for a third-party provider’s service interruption, account restriction, processing delay or independent decision.
Xa Handmade remains responsible for handling the customer’s order and any payment actually received by Xa Handmade in accordance with the applicable policies and law.
29. Changes to Payment Methods
Xa Handmade may add, remove, suspend or change a payment method because of:
- Provider availability;
- Legal or regulatory requirements;
- Security concerns;
- Technical problems;
- Country or currency restrictions;
- Account limitations; or
- Business requirements.
The payment methods applicable to an order are those displayed during checkout when that order is placed.
A method mentioned in this policy is not guaranteed to be available for every customer, country, product or transaction.
30. Changes to This Policy
Xa Handmade may update this Payment Methods Policy when there are changes to:
- Payment providers;
- Bank or mobile-wallet arrangements;
- Checkout procedures;
- Order-verification procedures;
- Products or courses;
- Refund processes;
- Security practices; or
- Applicable legal requirements.
The revised policy will be published on this page with an updated Last updated date.
A change to this policy will not unfairly alter the payment terms already confirmed for an existing order.
31. Related Policies
Customers should also review:
- Shipping and Delivery Policy;
- Refund and Returns Policy; and

These policies explain order preparation, delivery, returns, refunds and the handling of customer information.
